This in the short term is likely to suppress the value of many houses and inconvenience house owners that will be directly affected, but conversely, there will be many areas that benefit. There is no doubt that there will be house value increases, particularly in areas previously out of scope for commuters, brought by these improved important communication rail links.
Provided there is fast broadband and good mobile phone reception, many business executives are keen to benefit from a more rural lifestyle with their families and are prepared to look and consider buying in more widely spread geographical areas than ever before.
